“Virtually painless” does not mean painless. Like virtual reality is not really reality.
“Documented” does not mean published in a peer reviewed medical or podiatric journal.
Pictures of a foot immediately after surgery may be misleading as to the long term results.
Before you chose a doctor, make sure that you ask the following questions:
- What hospitals are you on staff and in good standing?
- How many years of surgical training have you completed?
- Have you ever had your license revoked or suspended?
- Are you currently under probation by your Medical Board?
- Have you been published in a nationally recognized peer reviewed journal? Ask for a copy.
